Papers must be sent in IEEE format.

Full papers that must contain 6 to 8 pages will be received. These papers should present results of experiences, conclusions and future work.

Short papers will be received, which must contain 4 to 5 pages. These papers will be the instrument to present and share experiences in the process.

All contributions to CONTIE publications must undergo a rigurous, double blind, peer review by a mininum of three noted IT industry professionals/academicians before a contribution is selected to appear in any CONTIE publication.

Particularly, it is specified that all works must have some computational and social contribution, contemplating that they must follow a methodology for their development.

PAPER AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS

The papers accepted in CONTIE 2020, may be published according to the following conditions:

  • All papers in Spanish and Portuguese that have been accepted, sent and presented at the conference will be published in a book with ISBN “Avances en tecnologías inclusivas aplicadas en educación en iberoamérica". Editorial CONAIC.
  • The papers that are sent in English, that have been accepted and presented at the conference will be published as proceeding from the conference to be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library and submitted to indexing services.
  • Full and short Papers written in Spanish and Portuguese accepted and presented at the conference, must have the title and abstract in English to be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library and submitted to indexing services. The best complete papers will be selected to present an extended version for review in indexed journals.
  • A selection of the best papers in English that have been accepted and published in the conference are recommended (post-conference) for an extended version in:
    • IEEE Latin America Transaction (IEEE LATAM).
    • The Universal Access in the Information Society (UAIS) published by Springer.
    • The International Journal of Human Computer Interaction (IJHCI) published by T&F.

  • Cost per paper for the author (reduced prices - August 15 to September 4, 2020):
    • 1 paper $190 USD
    • Additional papers $90 USD
    • Assistant without papers $20 USD (Includes access to online conferences and participation certificate)
  • Conference costs from September 4:
    • 1 paper $210 USD
    • Additional papers $110 USD
    • Assistant without papers $30 USD (Includes access to online conferences and participation certificate)

Important Dates

We invite submissions of both a short paper (4 to 5 pages) and a full paper (6 to 8 pages) through EasyChair. These must be sent in IEEE format, and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this Conference.
